Following an EDC board recommendation, the City of Grand Forks Growth Fund and Jobs Development Authority approved a funding request yesterday from HB Sound & Light to assist with an expansion project.
The company is experiencing increasing demands for its services, which include speciality services for professional corporate and special events, high-end residential, educational, and corporate installations; and training and support.
They serve customers throughout North Dakota, into bordering states and Canada.
HB will receive PACE loan support from the city as part of a financing package to support building and site improvements to their new, larger location at 101 N. 8th St. As part of their expansion, the company will add 5 employees.
